Ashland, Oregon - Birder's World magazine, the preeminent American birder's journal, has chosen to highlight three of Ashland manufacturer Schrodt Designs wildlife garden products in their August 2003 article describing the "perfect 100 feeders".

In the article, "A Bird Feeder for Every Yard", celebrating its 100th issue, Birder's World set out to lessen the legwork necessary for their readers to find the perfect bird feeder for their wildlife sanctuaries, big or small, wooded or open, urban or rural. In evaluating the multitude of bird feeding products available today the editors considered wildlife enthusiast's needs, the type of birds the feeders attracted, cost, functionality, artistic form, and availability.
